Yoga is proven to help alleviate or reduce many of the health challenges facing the 50+ aging population.This ageless yoga class is an adaptation and application of traditional yoga poses and techniques to help those with physical health challenges manage their condition and increase vitality through yoga. Ageless yoga is practiced using chairs and other props and is designed to give those without a full range of motion the opportunity to practice basic traditional yoga poses and techniques. With adapted poses taken from Hatha yoga, participants in chair yoga are able to replicate traditional yoga practice without the stress and strain. In addition to the physical benefits of yoga, ageless yoga practice helps improve balance, flexibility and stamina, and helps one to stay mentally sharp, restore balance and improves attitude.
