Fundamentals of Yoga - Spring Session

Wednesday 7 Week Series

Thursday 7 Week Series

This progressive introductory 7 week course is designed to help you explore the deeper dimensions of yoga and develop strength, balance, flexibility and peace of mind.  Through this course you will become familiar with conscious yogic breathing, fundamental yoga poses, meditation and some yoga philosophy and dietary concepts. You will develop a solid a foundation of practice based upon the principles of alignment and the energy body (or chakra system). Upon completion of this course you will be ready to take any level yoga class or develop a safe personal practice tailored to your current age, health and lifestyle. People of every fitness level, from the tri-athlete to the sedentary individual can participate in this course. Each student is accepted and encouraged exactly as they are and will be given individual hands on adjustments. Learn ‘the basics' in a non-intimidating, fun and relaxed atmosphere.

*Prenatal Yoga 
Sundays (Thru Spring Schedule)
9:00 - 10:00 am, $15 Per Class

Tuesdays 5:45-7:00pm (Beginning June 1)

6/9, 6/16, 6/23, 6/30, 7/7, 7/14, 7/21


This prenatal yoga class is designed to explore and support the changes to your body during pregnancy. This class will provide students with a safe and gentle approach to yoga appropriate for all trimesters of pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. The class focus special breathing techniques, alignment of the body in yoga postures and opening the hips to prepare the body for birth. Relaxation meditations will also be taught to promote feelings of concentration and focus.
