Our Philosophy


Prana Yoga Center, established in 2002, is the Fox Valley's premier yoga center dedicated to the tradition and practice of authentic yoga. We treasure the traditions that have shaped modern yoga, and as we share the physical practice with you, we honor and make space for the deeper work of integrating mind, body and spirit. The process of breathing, thinking and feeling, Being and becoming.

We are a community of instructors and students who hold the practice of yoga in the highest regard. We express our passion for yoga and our commitment to practice through our actions, our words and the art of teaching. We believe in yoga as a life-long, life-changing practice.

Authenticity and integrity define the philosophy of Prana Yoga Center. Yoga means to “yoke” or “bring together,” and we are gratified to bring together an amazing staff and community of students. Our aim is to serve the highest good of all, especially those who make the effort to walk through the doors of Prana Yoga Center and commit to the practice of yoga.

So whether you are a long-time yoga practitioner or are just beginning to discover how yoga strengthens your body and calms your mind, we welcome you into our yoga community and into the transformational practice of yoga.
