Why Prana
“I appreciate the community we’ve built and the opportunity to connect and learn from students every day.”
Kathryn values the shared intention of all the teachers at Prana to make yoga accessible while honoring its tradition and how it fits into everyday life. It’s a place where teachers and students come together to share the practice in a meaningful, connected way.
Sometimes it’s the smallest adjustments that create the deepest shifts.

Kathryn’s connection to yoga is rooted in the balance between movement and stillness—and the way both can create a deeper connection to body, mind, and spirit.
Her training reflects this duality. With a background in both alignment-focused practice and the energetics of yoga, she brings a layered approach to her teaching—grounded in both structure and subtle awareness.
In her classes, there’s no emphasis on achieving a “perfect” pose.
Instead, she invites students to move dynamically and safely, noticing what’s happening in their bodies and building connection through experience.
There’s always breathwork. Always time to pause.
And often, a little bit of challenge to spark curiosity and playfulness.
Her intention is that students leave not just having moved—but with tools they can take into everyday life. Breathing techniques. Awareness. The ability to respond rather than react.
And a reminder that if you can breathe—you can practice.
